Aug 2025 – Present

- Migrated self-hosted GitLab and its CI runners to Amazon EKS, including controlled upgrades, S3 integration and post-migration validation of 131 projects and CI/CD pipelines.
- Upgraded 13 Kubernetes clusters across development, staging, production and shared services, including Karpenter and node pool updates.
- Implemented AWS platform foundations with Terraform and EKS, including shared services, private connectivity and environment isolation.
- Built reusable Terraform modules, Helm charts and Backstage templates, with GitOps and CI/CD workflows using Argo CD, GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
- Centralized logs from 2 AWS regions in Loki on EKS, integrating CloudWatch/Kinesis and ECS FireLens; migrated Grafana dashboards and tuned alerts.
- Strengthened least-privilege IAM controls, federated access and CI/CD authentication with OIDC. Investigated and contained incidents through log analysis, resource isolation and evidence preservation.
- Built internal tools for tenant isolation, access governance and AI-assisted pull request review; validated JIT access and WebAuthn pilots in development.
- Delivered efficiency improvements with gp3 EBS volumes and removal of unused infrastructure; produced architecture and cost assessments.
